I've been wanting to shoot with my lights outside, nobody takes me seriously finally this local folk super group took me up on it. One of my favorite blogs is/was rock and roll confidential which contains the essential "do not" list for band photography in it's aptly named 'hall of douche bags.' So hard to work around essentially somebodies backyard and make it interesting or at the very least not overly distracting.
Indeed. It takes a lot of guts for the band and the photographer to just be simple and not try to be really awesome. Good job here. I want some lights.
