A desperate attempt, by a bawdy crew of lightsmiths, shadow mechanics, and other various manipulators of optical dionysery, to keep our eyes working in these dark times.

Art installation by Zhao Suikang 赵穗康
I've been working for the past two weeks with Zhao Suikang 赵穗康 to install his art work at the J. Willard Marriott Library on the University of Utah campus. Since that has keep me from posting the last few weeks here is a short series on that work.
1. Post 0-2 times per week, at your leisure. 2. Don't monopolize the real estate. 3. Never apologize for your art. 4. Don't brag about the size of your lens. 5. Enjoy.
Looks like interesting stuff.
ReplyDeleteIt is very interesting, as you walk around the stuff inside the colors all changes. The bronze work outside is just amazing in how realistic it is.
